- Artists Swedish Prime Minister asking them to help the Iranians in the current critical situation.
- Interview with Abdolkarim Lahiji: the crimes committed by the Iranian government may be submitted to the UN Security Council Unite
31 years have passed since the Islamic revolution, during which, without interruption, the regime has imposed repression, torture, imprisonment, executions with the goal of self-preservation demolishing any form of opposition. Over the past 30 years, however, in two distinct phases of violent repression, this system has proven to be far more ruthless in the previous Iran: once during the ten-year war against 'Iraq, which provided the "pretext" for a massacre that reached its apex in 1988, and in the last two months, when people, after 30 years, has managed to shout slogans in the street and singing rooftops to regain their revolution.
30 years after the Islamic regime repeats exactly the same dynamic of 30 years ago to clamp down on opposition: violence, imprisonment, torture, rapes, executions, coerced confessions, processes "farce", but this time, since the aim was to terrorize adversaries and opponents, the brutality and violence are exacerbated even more than before. However, if the massacres carried out in the 80s, the brutal executions of prisoners, had less resonance in the world (many international organizations for human rights were silenced by the government), this time in spite of the regime, the cries of protest of the Iranians were not ignored from the world: the news emerged and brought out by students, bloggers, ordinary people el 'international public opinion with the pressure that has been able to exercise contributed not to ignore the events of recent months. Yet the slogans and songs of today is not different from those of the 80s: freedom and justice.
We, the families of those who were killed in the '80s, we lived very difficult situation, the worst, during all these years. We know that if this "routine" of violence and repression will continue, what happened to us happen to the families of those who were killed in the last two months. They kidnapped, tortured, executed our loved ones. Have not been tried, we never knew of what crimes they were accused. They have not returned their bodies, they told us the place where they were buried. After extensive research we were told that their bodies were buried in cemeteries in Khavaraned or other cities. Buried in a group or individually. Today
who took to the streets to protest, to oppose was killed by bullets sticks. He was arrested and the hell of these prisons have been subjected to torture and rapes. We'll be lucky if they return their bodies. We have put pressure on (us, our families, loved ones). Prevented us from studying, we have driven dai posti di lavoro e ci hanno sbarrato ogni strada per migliorare e crescere.
